Nice article. Thanks for posting it. I had the privilege of first meeting Marty back at an NPM (National Pastoral Musicians) Conference in the mid 1980's. Since then I occasionally catch up with him at another conference or workshop, most recently a few years ago at the NPM in Omaha, Nebraska. I attended one of his breakout sessions and played guitar for him during a presentation. A down to earth human being, he is a truly gifted and talented person who has contributed a lot to liturgical music. There are not too many places in the American Catholic Church that have not been touched by his wonderful work. May God continue to bless Marty as he ministers and builds up the Kingdom of God.
